The origins of Armi Chiappa go back to 1958, when Ezechiele Chiappa, better known as Oscar and employed in the gun field since the tenderest age, set up the Armi Sport to manufacture guns for third party companies, at the same time developing the production of compressed air rifles.

The enthusiasm and the passion of Oscar in manufacturing guns have been generously transmitted to the rest of the family which has co-operated during these years to the development and the growth of the company.
It's in 1984, thanks to the direct involvement of the children in the management of the Company, that Armi Chiappa begin the direct marketing of historical replicas with its mark "Armi Sport" gaining step by step part of the American market, always been the more interested in these products.
